Recap of Day One of Changsha Major's MDL Group Phase
The first day of the MDL Changsha Major group phase ended without any major surprises. Some favorite teams appear dominant in their respective groups. While some teams are still struggling to find the points they really need to advance to the rounds playoffs.
Team Secret and Mineski easily dominated Group A. Mineski started the group phase against two easy opponents, namely Infamous and IG Vitality. Both they can overcome with a score of 2-0. Meanwhile Team Secret also met Infamous and OG. They were also able to win 2-0 against these two teams.
The two teams then met for the first place in the group. But in the end both teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile in group B PSG.LGD also showed a solid performance on the first day. Against Vega Squadron and Newbee, they managed to win 2-0 against both teams. Below them are Vici Gaming with one win and one draw, and VGJ.Storm with one win and one loss.
The MDL Changsha group phase will end on the second day when this article is being released.
