Looking bad since early 2021, Keen Gaming coach indicates the disbandment of the Dota 2 team

Since early 2021, Keen Gaming’s Dota 2 team has participated in many tournaments. But as one of the biggest Dota 2 teams in China, they can’t really talk much.

Keen Gaming participated in several tournaments, such as the closed qualifiers ESL One Los Angeles Major and StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor, China Dota2 Professional League, CDA League, OGA Dota PIT 2021 Online: China, and others. But none of them they were able to win, or just to say much.

Currently Keen Gaming has actually started to rebuild their big name in the Chinese Dota 2 community by introducing a new line of players in April 2021. They are also one of the organizations that formed the CDA along with seven other top teams in the Bamboo Curtain country.

But the bad news actually came out of the management of the organization. As reported by VPEsports, the poor results they got in participating in these tournaments were far from satisfactory until they announced the disbandment of the team.

The certainty of the disbandment of the Dota 2 Keen Gaming team was revealed directly by their coach, Chen “86” Yuxuan through a post on his Weibo account on Wednesday (20/5/2021). He revealed this, although it has not been officially issued by the organization.

Thus, it means that Keen Gaming players such as Erica, Blood, xiaofu, Yds, and Fantasy will soon be contract-free and have to find a new team to continue their career.

However, on Thursday (21/5/2021), Keen Gaming players still competed in the DPL-CDA Pro League Season 1 against Team Aster, where they lost 1-2. After that they will also play their last match against Invictus Gaming on Friday (22/5/2021).

Maybe after the match, Keen Gaming will announce the disbandment of the team and introduce their latest roster.
