4 Reasons Why Installing Windows with Flash is Preferred
There are several reasons why Windows installation with a flash is preferred by users, including the following:
1. Faster Installation Process
The first reason why people prefer to use a flash when installing is that the process is faster than using a CD or DVD. In the past, the process for installing windows only used a CD or DVD.
However, nowadays many have switched from CD or DVD because the installation process is quite long, so it will take a long time to install windows or other operating systems. So that nowadays people prefer to use a flash drive to install the operating system.
Because the flash has the ability to read and write quickly so that the Windows installation process becomes faster. Therefore, for now the flash is the most preferred for installing windows.
2. Simpler
The next reason why the use of a flash is preferred to install windows is because its use is simpler.
In the past, when you wanted to install Windows, you had to use a CD or DVD which was only limited to one operating system, even the use of CDs and DVDs would be more prone to damage.
So with the times, a new technology emerged, namely a flash that can be used to carry out the installation process easily and simply. And can be done anywhere without fear of damage.
The reason the flash is said to be simpler is also because you don’t have to buy a CD or DVD. So, just by using a flash drive and a connecting application, you can install Windows quickly and simply.
3. Laptop / Computer does not have a CD or DVD Drive
The next reason is because not all laptops or PCs have a CD or DVD Drive. Or maybe their CD or DVD Drive is damaged. So it will be very difficult and troublesome if you have to buy a new CD or DVD Drive.
Moreover, the price or cost to buy an external CD or DVD Drive is not cheap. Therefore, many people use flash drives to install windows on their laptops or PCs.
In addition to a cheaper price, flash drives are also easy to carry anywhere, making it very easy for them to install anytime and anywhere without having to buy and carry a CD or DVD Drive.
4. The price is quite cheap
The last reason why people prefer to use a flash drive to install Windows is because the price is cheap. In the past, most people install windows or install any operating system using a CD or DVD drive.
However, before that they definitely have to buy the CD or DVD first and it will definitely cost a lot of money. Not to mention if the laptop or PC they are using does not have an internal CD or DVD Drive in it. Or maybe their internal DVD is damaged? It doesn’t matter if their laptop or PC has an internal CD or DVD available.
But if not, then they have to buy an external CD or DVD Drive. And they have to pay back to buy the DVD, which is certainly not cheap.
Therefore, nowadays many use flash drives to save more money than using a CD or DVD Drive. And only using a flash and a connecting application, you can already install windows.
Besides Rufus, there are many other alternatives that you can try such as WinToFlash, WiNToBootic, UNetbootin, and many more of course.
