Business Sony to turn on Nathan Drake past Uncharted Movie seems to be facing obstacles again after the director left this project. According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Shawn Levy, who was supposed to be the project director for Uncharted Movie, has resigned to direct another film. Shawn Levy’s decision will certainly make Sony even more busy because it will definitely look for a replacement director.
It’s been over a year Sony Pictures want to realize this Uncharted film project. Even some actors were rumored to be participating, such as Mark Wahlberg who will play Nathan Drake with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci also participating. One thing that is certain is that Tom Holland will officially play the young Nathan Drake because the Uncharted film will take the background before the game version of the story. Then in August Shawn Levy teased that they would soon start filming.
With the departure of Shawn Levy as director, of course, the Uncharted film project is again delayed and makes fans out there again have to be patient to watch Nathan Drake’s action through the film version of Uncharted.
