Ready to Buy, PlayStation 5 Has Passed the Ministry of Communication and Information's SDPPI Certification

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Gamers around the world have been waiting for the presence of the next generation console, the PlayStation 5, which will be released on November 12. Even so, until now there is no definite information when the console made by Sony can be purchased in Indonesia. The good news is that PS5 has received certification from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics Directorate General of Resources and Equipment for Post and Information Technology (SDPPI).

This was revealed on the page e-Certification belonging to the Directorate General of SDPPI Kemkominfo. Registered by PT Sony Indonesia, there are two PlayStation 5 models that have received postel certification, namely CFI-1018A and CFI-1018B. The CFI-1018A model is believed to be the regular version of the PS5, which has a Blu-ray disc slot, while the CFI-1018B is the digital version.

In addition, there are three other Sony devices that have also received certification from the Ministry of Communication and Information, namely the DualSense Wireless Controller (CFI-ZCT1G), Media Remote (CFI-ZMR1), and Wireless Headset (CFI-ZWH1). Each of the five products is registered with certificate numbers 71066/SDPPI2021, 71072/SDPPI2021, 71073/SDPPI2021, 71075/SDPPI2021, and 71087/SDPPI2021.

For your information, the “lucky” countries to get a release schedule on November 12 include the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. While in several other countries, the PS5 will only be released later or 19 November. It is also not certain whether Indonesia is included in the “other country” category.
