These are the 2 Teams Representing Thailand in the 2021 Esports President's Cup Final

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The 2021 Esports President’s Cup officially held the inaugural regional qualifying match for the Free Fire branch in Thailand, Saturday (19/10).

The esports tournament organized by the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), KEMENPORA, KEMENKOMINFO, BEKRAF, and IESPL finally found two teams that made it through to the Grand Final round, namely Illuminate Slow Twok and EVOS Memorial Gamer.

In the Thailand regional qualification match, 12 teams competed with each other in order to qualify for the Grand Final of the 2021 Esports President Cup which will be held in Jakarta, February 2, 2021.

The twelve teams participating in the Thailand regional qualifiers are EVOS Insight, EVOS Memorial Gamer, Expension, Illuminate Slow Twok, Lynx Freedom, King of Gamer Sniper, NEX Shin Apollo SPY, Nonnoy 100% Esport, Pinto Nakboon, RRQ Sumpawaysi, Wisdom Esport , and Xavier E-Sports.

The Illuminate came out as the best team in a match that lasted seven rounds. Even though they only won Booyah once in the third round, Illuminate performed consistently throughout the game so that they could reach a total of 84 points.

Meanwhile, 73 points achieved by EVOS MG managed to bring them to one remaining ticket. Actually, they have a chance to snatch the top of the standings from the hands of the Illuminate. Unfortunately, that hope was dashed after they became the first team to go home in the seventh round.

There was tension in the seventh round after EVOS MG and Illuminate, the two top-ranked teams, were the first to return to the Lobby. This situation also opened up opportunities for Wisdom and RRQ who were in third and fourth place to win Grand Final tickets.

Unfortunately, Wisdom performed poorly after becoming the fourth team to return to the Lobby. RRQ also failed to win Booyah after Nonnoy became the team that won in the seventh round.

There is one interesting thing that can be highlighted from the Thailand regional qualifiers. The power map between the 12 teams is fairly balanced so that no team wins more than one Booyah. In addition, there are a total of five teams that have a chance to win the Grand Final ticket with a point difference that is not so far away.

Thanks to this result, Illuminate and EVOS MG have the right to advance to the Grand Final of the Esports President Cup 2021. They will be the second and third teams that have been confirmed to compete in the Grand Final after Dranix Esports who won the Free Fire Indonesia Masters (FFIM) 2021 Season 2 .
