Mehdi said that the increase in operating system users has increased in the last 12 months compared to the previous one. Even in March, Micorosft has also announced that Windows 10 is already installed on more than 800 million devices.

By reaching 100 million users in less than a year, making it the fastest period experienced by Windows 10 since its release in 2021. Mehdi also lists devices such as Surface Hub, HoloLens, and even Xbox that have played a role in helping the adoption of the Windows operating system.

With this achievement, Microsoft is again optimistic that by 2021, this operating system will be installed on 1 billion devices. This is also due to the end of Windows 7 support in 2021 and until now Windows 7 users are still very large. And at that time it is estimated that many users will switch to Windows 10.

Actually this is not something special for Microsoft. Because they themselves were optimistic that the target of 1 billion users would be achieved in just 3 years. However, seeing developments at that time that did not match predictions, Microsoft finally admitted that at that time they were too optimistic.

However, if you look at its popularity further, this number may have been exceeded if only unofficial or pirated Windows 10 users were also included.
