Ninjas in Pajamas Announce New Dota 2 Roster, Universe Returns to Play

After a disastrous result at The International 2021, Ninjas in Pajamas looks like it’s about to get a complete overhaul roster they know even back from Dota 2. This speculation began to prove when two players turned out to form a new team. But it turns out that the captain of the ppd still hasn’t given up and Ninjas in Pajamas will still be active in Dota 2.

Pd is the only player to stay in roster this. But the four players he recruited were not new names. They are Universe, Gunnar, Biver, and also Skiter.

Biver and Skiter are two European players who at the end of last season tried their luck at the South American team Infamous. Unfortunately they did not get a positive result and were replaced by roster Peru who then made a surprise at The International 2021.

Gunnar is a young American player who is perhaps better known from his case with EternalEnvy. Although he was instrumental in getting his team to qualify for the Major tournament, he was kicked out of the team just days before the Major started.

Lastly, Universe is a player who is offlaner who had played for Evil Geniuses which was also led by ppd. Unmitigated, both of them managed to win The International 2021. After leaving Fnatic, he tried his luck in the 2021-2021 season by playing for Forward Gaming. But due to not getting results, he resigned and decided to take a break from the competitive world for a while.

The journey of Ninjas in Pajamas in the 2021-2021 season is unique. Despite having managed to get an invite to The International 2021, they are considered a very inconsistent team in the tournament. This assumption was proven true when this team finally fell in the group phase of The International 2021, not being able to feel playing on the main stage at all.
