Not Just Football, Spanish La Liga Holds ElaLiga Santander Esports Competition 2021/2021

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Football lovers, especially the Spanish League, are now not only presented with the appearance of players from the gridiron, but also virtual games, aka Esports. For the fourth time, La Liga has again held the eLaLiga Santander Esports competition. The 2021/2021 season has started from Tuesday (12/1/2021).

Just like the previous season, eLaLiga Santander is back with EA Sports’ soccer simulation game, FIFA. This season eLaLiga Santander will use the latest edition of FIFA, FIFA 21. ELaLiga Santander is one of the main attractions for Spanish football fans, especially those who are also involved in the world of Esports.

“We are proud to announce the involvement of 38 clubs in this project, which has entered its fourth season. It shows the ability of this competition since it started in 2021,” said La Liga president Javier Tebas, quoted by ABC.es.

A total of 64 players representing 38 teams will compete in the eLaLiga Santander 2021/2021. This season there are 11 Spanish League clubs who choose their own players who will represent them.

“ELaLiga Santander has helped us reach a younger audience and introduced old fans to the world of gaming. With this move, game fans can experience the passion and emotion that conventional football matches offer as something that extends entertainment itself.”
