Creator Suikoden Announce New Project: Eiyuden Chronicle

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The writer and director of the Suikoden and Suikoden II games, Yoshitaka Murayama, has just announced a new project called Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

Eiyuden Chronicle is a classic JRPG game with a turn-based game system with a team of 6 characters. In 2.5D graphics, this game will tell about the conflict that occurred in a part of Allraan through a village boy named Nowa and Seign, a young talented warrior. An incident eventually leads them to engage in war and question what they believe in.

As the successor of the Suikoden game series, Eiyuden Chronicle will also have more than 100 characters and a fortress-building feature along with the recruitment of new heroes.

The game was developed for PC by the newly founded studio Rabbit & Bear in Tokyo earlier this year. This project involves people who have been involved in the Suikoden series, including lead artist Junko Kawano (Suikoden I and IV) and director Osamu Komuta (Suikoden Tactics and Suikoden Tierkreis). The music itself is rumored to be handled by Motoi Sakuraba (Tales Series, Star Ocean Series) and Michiko Naruke (Wild Arms).

To make this project a reality, Rabbit & Bear opened Kickstarter on July 27th and will end on August 28th. The target amount is $500,000 USD.

Eiyuden Chronicle is currently planned for Q3 2022.
