Mobile Legends Developmental League, A New Way to Become a Pro Player!

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – It is common knowledge that Moonton as the official organizer of the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) will continue to strive to develop the Esports ecosystem in Indonesia. This is certainly in line with his vision to become a pillar of the esports ecosystem in Indonesia.

2021 will be a year full of tournaments in the country. In addition to MPL which will take place again soon, of course, game lovers from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) already know that the second MLBB World Championship or M2 will also be held in Indonesia. This was officially announced at the M1 grand finals in Malaysia last November.

Then what other surprises will be presented by Moonton? As if to answer other parties’ questions regarding the opportunity to become a professional player from MLBB, Moonton will present a second league from MPL. This second league was also named the Mobile Legends Developmental League (MDL).

As the second league of MPL, of course, the attitude and nature of professionalism will still be upheld. As the name implies as a developmental league, Moonton invites as well as teams that are currently participating in MPL to field their second team and also open up opportunities for other teams to participate.

Teams outside the MPL ecosystem will compete for the opportunity to join MDL through the offline qualifier system. All applications that enter to take part in the first season of MDL will be selected by Moonton. Where with the qualification system new teams will become more competitive and the team selection system will become more transparent.

MDL itself is planned to start in February and will last for approximately 2 months. Where the regular season and also the playoffs will be held in Jakarta for a start. It is certain that MDL will be broadcast online to make it easier for game lovers to be able to follow the continuity of this second league.

By joining this MDL, the teams competing in MPL have the opportunity to start looking at new players who have more competition. MDL is also a dream for semi-pro players to be able to show their teeth and show their skills, with the hope that after this league is finished they can go further, namely in MPL.
