FPX reveals desired champion as World skin
After FunPlus Phoenix’s big win over G2 Esports in the League of Legends World Championship final, the team has revealed which champion they want their World skin to be in the future.
Like the previous League of Legends World Championship, each winning team is entitled to choose one champion to then get a World skin based on the champion of their choice, and FPX will be the next to receive the World skin.
In the press conference following their win, the FPX players were asked by members of the press which champion they would like to see wearing the FPX logo. While this isn’t definitive, the players’ answers give us some idea of what they’ll want for the time being.
The full list of selected champions includes:
- Gao “Tian” Tian-Liang: Lee Sin
- Liu “Crisp” Qing-song: Thresh
- Lin “Lwx” Wei-Xiang: Vayne/Kai’sa
- Kim “GimGoom: Han-saem: Gangplank
Midlaner Kim “Doinb” Tae-sang was the only player who didn’t give a direct answer, saying that he needed some time before making a decision.
We’ll have to wait until next year, before we finally see what’s chosen. Most of the Worlds skins weren’t revealed until a few months after the finale.
