Immortals Announces Intention to Dive into Dota 2

Competitive realm Dota 2 looks like it will be very busy and full of competition in this 2021-2021 season. Throughout the season there are about 20 Minor and Major tournaments that can be participated by all teams around the world. Coupled with the emergence of many new teams without sponsors, Immortals announced their intention to dive into the world Dota 2.

Immortals themselves are an organization esports based in the United States. First established in 2021, this organization is growing rapidly. Till today they have players in the branch League of Legends, CS:GO, Overwatch, Super Smash Bros., and Vainglory and often reap significant achievements. Team League of Legends they, for example, recently grabbed the position runner-up in the League of Legends Championship Series Summer.

In his statement, Immortals CEO Noah Whinston said that Dota 2 is a esports with a global network and exposure. Especially with the existence of major tournaments such as The International, as well as dozens of Major and Minor tournaments this season, he felt that this was the best time to enter Dota 2.

Want to Bring Something More to Dota 2

But Immortals intent went into Dota 2 not just to enter the tournament and hope to be a winning team. Noah wants to give something different to the community Dota 2.

In the future, once he gets a team, he will create content that shows their players behind the scenes. He said that was the reason why many people liked The Summit tournament, which managed to show another side of the players through interactions that we rarely see in formal tournaments.

Creating such content is nothing new for Immortals, or even some other teams like TSM and Team Liquid. If you see channel On their YouTube, these teams often make videos showing their player interactions outside of matches.

But most of the content shows players in games others like Super Smash Bros._ or League of Legends. Then on the other hand there are not many teams or tournament organizers Dota 2 who create such content, either out of a shortage of people or feeling it unnecessary.

Noah has not indicated which team and players he will sign. But now he has many choices, for example the ppd team, the w33 team, or the Korean players team.
