The Bucharest Minor Group Format and Division: BOOM ID Meets OG Langsung

The Bucharest Minor will start today. In addition to being the second Minor in the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit season, this tournament will be BOOM ID’s debut on the Pro Circuit. But their struggle will be quite heavy if you look at the division of the group in this tournament.

Like the previous Minor tournament, The Bucharest Minor is divided into two phase, group phase and playoffs. In the group phase, eight teams will be divided into two groups and play in GSL/GSL format.double elimination best of three.

This group phase does not drop participants, but only as seeding. The two best teams will advance to winners’ bracket playoff, while the bottom two teams will advance to losers’ bracket playoff. Half playoffs played with the format double elimination best of three. Especially for the final round will be played with the format best of five.

As you can see, BOOM ID is in group B along with OG (Europe), EHOME (China), and Playmakers (South America). For the opening match, BOOM ID will directly compete against OG.

Winning against OG might be very difficult, but not impossible considering the TI8 champion is still use stand-in temporary, iLTW, to fill the position carry they. Besides that on paper EHOME and Playmaker are a team that can still be beaten. Let’s just pray that BOOM ID can give the best performance in this tournament.
