CS:GO Asia Championship 2021 group divisions and fixtures revealed

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Asia Championship 2021 tournament has announced the group divisions and match fixtures.

In the tournament which was held at the Jing’an Sports Center, Shanghai, China, on 20-24 November 2021, the eight teams that will appear have now been divided into two different groups.

Group A is inhabited by teams such as Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports, Made in Brazil (MIBR), and TYLOO. Meanwhile in Group B there are AVANGAR, ENCE, Mousesports, and Vici Gaming.



In this group phase, the elimination match format is used, where the team that lost in the opening match still has the opportunity to fight for the final place in the play-off round through an elimination match.

Meanwhile, the team that wins in the opening game has already confirmed a place in the play-offs, only to determine the position of the winner and group runner-up.

Each team that manages to win in each group will immediately advance to the semifinals. While the teams that are in second and third positions in each standings will fight in the quarter-finals.

The 2021 CS:GO Asia Championship tournament presents a prize of US $ 500,000 (approximately IDR 7 billion).
