CD Projekt Releases Official Mod for Cyberpunk 2077 That PC Players Can Use

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – CD Projekt Red has released the official Cyberpunk 2077 modding tool that allows PC gamers to improve their game performance at their own pace. In a post on the game’s website on Tuesday (1/26/2021), the company said its official modding tools and resources will be updated alongside the game to ensure compatibility.

Previously, many bugs and technical problems when running Cyberpunk 2077 gave rise to various third-party mods. These unofficial mods allow users to enhance their experience while playing, such as the field of view slider, the controls menu, vehicle handling and mini-maps. In fact, one of the Cyberpunk 2077 mods allows users to play the PC version of the game in a third person perspective, as reported by GAMEFINITY.ID some time ago.

As for the modding support page available on the Cyberpunk official website, the four tools provided include Metadata, ArchiveDump, TweakDump, and TweakDB IDs. CD Projekt Red said Monday (01/25/2021) that they are working on a fix for the Cyberpunk 2077 bug that halted developments related to the Down on the Street mission.

On January 22, CDPR released the first of two Cyberpunk 2077 patches designed to fix the “most prominent issues”. Update 1.1 focuses on various stability improvements related to memory usage, crashes, bugs, performance and visual issues.

Even so, many gamers actually feel this patch also brings new problems. The bug in question occurs when the player gets a call from Takemura, but no conversation takes place. This makes the main story stop and the player must repeat the last save data.
