Superman Leaks Mass Effect Live Action Project

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Superman and The Witcher star, Henry Cavill coded that the Mass Effect game might be turned into a live action project. This is revealed from the image he uploaded on his Instagram account, which is suspected to be a script from Mass Effect.

“Secret project? Or just a handful of paper with random words on it…. Looks like you’ll have to wait and see,” wrote @henrycavill.

The writing on the paper was then modified by the GamePressure editorial team via Photoshop. As a result, a series of words were revealed that turned out to be related to games directed by BioWare, Mass Effect such as “Cerberus”, “Reaper”, and “Geth”. The text is similar to the synopsis of Mass Effect 3 as listed on Wikipedia.

“Following the events at Tuchanka and the failed coup by Cerberus to take over the Citadel, the quarians offer their support to the Alliance if Shepard helps them reclaim their home world, Rannoch, from geth.

Assisted by a quarian, either Tali’Zorah or Admiral Daro’Xen, Shepard performs a geth dreadnought attack and rescues the captive geth units, either Legion or facsimile occupied by geth virtual intelligence (VI), then deactivates the Reaper control signal over the get.”

It’s possible that the script is related to the live action Mass Effect project, or one of the upcoming games. Cavill himself is known as a gamer, and has even uploaded a video of himself assembling his own gaming PC. The 37-year-old actor admits to being a fan of Fallout, Half-Life and The Witcher. The latter name was later elevated to the Netflix series, with Cavill co-starring as Geralt.

Electronic Arts recently started marketing for the Mass Effect Legendary Edition game, which is a remaster of the first three Mass Effect games for console and PC. The Legendary Edition is scheduled to be released in May.

BioWare also announced last year that a new Mass Effect game was being developed by the company’s “veterans team”, which it touted as the “next chapter of the Mass Effect universe”.

Video game adaptations have recently become a hot topic in the world of film and television. Several successful game adaptations have been released, such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Detective Pikachu. Other adaptations still in development include Uncharted (starring Tom Holland), Dreamworks’ Mortal Kombat and Super Mario films.

Sony is also reportedly developing three films and seven TV shows based on PlayStation games, as part of its new PlayStation Productions business. The first TV series from PlayStation Productions was the HBO series adaptation of The Last of Us, with Game of Thrones actors Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in the lead roles. The second project is an action comedy adapted from the Twisted Metal series.

Other reports suggest a Metal Gear Solid film is also being planned, with Star Wars actor Oscar Isaac set to play Solid Snake.
