01. Customize your Start menu

Now to stop this craziness, we just have to turn off Quick Access mode to “This PC” view mode by opening File Explorer, and View > Options on the Ribbon above. Then select the “This PC” option in the “Open File Explorer to” drop down menu.

04. Virtual desktops

Virtual desktop allows you to organize applications in a special area that you create just like the Linux operating system. You can create several virtual desktops that you can adjust the genre. the arrangement of the applications you are currently open in a special area above the task bar.

Just click the multi windows icon on the taskbar or the windows button + tab and click + new desktop in the lower left corner. After the new virtual desktop is created, you can move the application you want to the new virtual desktop by pressing the multi windows icon again. click and hold and then drag the application you want to move to the new virtual desktop.

05. Schedule your restarts

This new feature is also very useful. If at any time you find a system update requires a system restart process, in Windows 10 you can schedule the restart process to the time you want.

To do this, open the settings option on the start menu and go to the Update and Recovery menu > Windows Update. If there is a pending update, you will see it in the right pane, which you can set to give the system the option to change the restart time. Amazingly, you can go to the advanced options that allow you to ask Windows to tell you to restart, even though the system has finished updating.

06. Secret, powerful new Command Prompt tools

Finally, the Windows 10 version of the command prompt allows us to copy and paste in it with the Crtl + C and Crtl + V key combinations that we have known for a long time.

But you need to enable this feature first because it is not active by default. To enable it, open a command prompt. Right click on the small bar above it, then select properties. In it you can find and activate the new feature under the “Edit Options” section of the options tab.

07. Game Bar

The Game DVR function in Windows 10 is actually designed to record in-game moments, but it turns out that this feature can also record activities in other applications (except OS level applications such as desktop or file explorer) running on the desktop for you to make videos.

To invoke this feature, press the Windows key + G key combination. A notification will appear asking you if you really want to open the Game bar.
