Tips for Choosing a Laptop for Beginner Programmers

When you’re just learning program language, maybe most of the newbies ask themselves, what laptop or PC is good to use in learning programming languages?

Especially now that there are so many brands laptop manufacturerp which offers attractive specifications. And because there are too many, maybe some newbies feel confused about which one to choose.

Although all types of laptops and PCs can be made to learn programming languages, it’s a good idea to use laptop or PC which is really capable. This is so that they can work more productively, especially now that many specific programming languages only support certain specification criteria.

Below are some references that may be very useful for programmers :

1. Portability
Portability is the main reason why programmers prefer to use laptops over PCs. Laptops really allow programmers to work anytime and anywhere, without having to be complicated with electricity. 2.Performance and CPU Access Speed

CPU performance is certainly very influential. The CPU or processor has several mandatory specifications, namely the number of cores, as well as cache size, frequency, and others. 4. Hard Drive Type and Size

Hard drives are no less important to support programmers in their work, especially as a web design that requires quite large data and access speed. SSD prices are still quite expensive. For a capacity of 128 GB, the price can be almost close to the price of a regular HDD measuring up to 1 TB. But the price doesn’t lie, SSD speed is much more powerful than HDD. Therefore, if a newbie programmer wants to focus on learning to program, plan to one day be able to upgrade HDD to SSD, at least for the system (128 GB is enough). 5. RAM and Memory

RAM and memory are crucial for programmers, especially Android and PC game programmers who need a capable laptop performance. Because software such as the Android SDK, Unity 3D and Design software require a large amount of RAM in order to run optimally, the author does not imagine if the software is used on a laptop under 2 GB Ram. It will be very slow and difficult for programmers to complete their work.
