PGL Announces First Dota 2 Major of the Season, The Kuala Lumpur Major
In collaboration with eGG Network, Astro, and ImbaTV, PGL announced the first Major tournament for the 2021-2021 Dota Pro Circuit. Under the name The Kuala Lumpur Major, this tournament will be held in neighboring Malaysia from 16 to 18 November 2021.
In a press conference which was broadcast live on September 5 last afternoon, the tournament organizer announced venue and ticket sales for spectators. The tournament will be held at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur. If you want to watch it live, you can buy a 3-Day Pass with the following three price categories:
- Ancient: MYR180 (Approx. IDR 647,000)
- Divine: MYR330 (Approx. IDR1.1 million)
- Immortals: MYR 600 Around IDR 2.1 million)

Ticket sales for early bird with 10 percent discount will open on September 17th with limited stock. While ticket sales regular place will open on October 1st.
Unfortunately, apart from prize pool amounting to US$1 million and a total of 16 teams, there is no further information regarding the tournament format and qualifications. What is clear is that with his status as the first Major, we will see what the 2021-2021 season will look like in the future through this tournament.
