Here's The Chongqing Major Team, Group Division, and Regional Qualifying Pairing
The open qualifier series of The Chongqing Major is finally over. Two to four teams from each region complete the teams that will compete in the closed/regional qualifiers which will start on 25 November.
Like other Majors this season, each regional qualifier at the Chongqing Major will look for the two best teams to represent it. The remaining three slots will be awarded to three undetermined regions, while one will go to the winner of The Bucharest Minor.
The regional qualifiers for The Chongqing Major have a similar format to The Kuala Lumpur Major. Eight teams will be divided into two groups and compete in GSL format best of three. The two best teams in the group will advance to playoffs, while the rest must fall out of the qualification.
Half playoffs played with the format double elimination best of three. The two best teams (or three for regionals that get the bonus) will get tickets to the Chongqing Major.

As you can see, BOOM ID has made it through to the Southeast Asia regional qualifiers. They will face Fnatic in an open match.
Europe is also a region worth observing and will be very exciting. Both Team Secret, Ninjas in Pajamas, and Alliance have already shown their strength at The Kuala Lumpur Major last. But don’t forget Team Liquid who wanted to make up for their failure in the previous qualifiers, as well as OG who would finally re-emerge even though they had to temporarily lose Ana who decided to take a break.
The series of regional qualifiers for The Chongqing Major will start on November 25, starting with the Southeast Asia, CIS and South America regions for three days, then continuing with Europe, China and North America.
