Mousesports Wins Starseries Season 4 CSGO
The CSGO Starseries Season 4 international tournament has been completed. This CSGO tournament has given birth to a winning team, namely Mousesports. This CSGO team became the champion of Starseries Season 4 after completing this international eSports tournament brilliantly. In the Starseries Season 4 grand final, they won over top team Natus Vincere.
Starseries Season 4 Champion
The CSGO Starseries Season 4 international tournament was held in Ukraine which made Natus Vincere automatically host the FPS game championship. Support of course flows to the CSGO Na’Vi team, but Mouz is not afraid because they can finish the tournament well. They ended the week-long tournament with a 2-1 win over Na’Vi.
Oleksander “s1mple” was arguably the most brilliant player in a grand final match, but tactically, Mouz team leader Chris “chrisJ” de Jong is a true MVP. He is said to be a true MVP because of his phenomenal reading ability and also his ability to fill the role of a secondary AWP which can have a very important impact on the matches played by Mouz.
Mouz forgot to ban the Overpass map in this Steam CSGO game. This map is one of the best maps that Na’Vi has played. So they paid the price for it. Na’Vi shot high in the game and held off Mouz very well, which half the game saw Na’Vi impress with a score of 11-4. The Overpass map finally ended with Na’Vi’s brilliant 16-7 win.
Mirage is the CSGO map that features the most unexpected moments in this international tournament. Na’Vi points out its weaknesses throughout this map, making it a major target for analyst criticism. Multikills from s1mple allow for the return of Na’Vi late in the game, but play on that map still continues into overtime.
After swapping scores, a fine play from Denis “electronic” Sharipov saved Na’Vi in first added time. Mouz, however, stole the game 22-18 when they returned to the CT side. ChrisJ used AWP to defend well and hit 41 kills to beat S1mple’s brilliant performance with 43 frags.
Train’s third map was favorable on Mouz’s side where they quickly scored 11-4. They played a very strong T side. Na’Vi themselves had found some momentum, but several coordinated attempts by Mouz halted Na’Vi’s comeback towards the end of the match. Finally the grand final ended with a score of 16-9 where Mouz won over Na’Vi.
With an average of 30 kills per map and an average of 98 damage per stat round, it was not enough for S1mple to bring his team to victory at home which is a clear testament to how interesting CS:GO team play. Mouz is much more tactical than Na’Vi, and this was evident throughout the grand final map, as well as his best previous matches against G2 Esports, Cloud9, SK Gaming and Team Liquid.
ChrisJ and friends will definitely become the main contenders for the top team Counter-Strike after becoming the champions of Starseries Season 4, especially towards IEM Katowice, which is the next international CSGO tournament. The international CSGO IEM Katowice tournament will start on 27 February and continue until 4 March 2021.
