Safe! These Six Provinces Successfully Passed Mobile Legends and PES Exhibition Numbers
Pon XX Papua 2021 is getting closer to implementation. Ahead of the prestigious inter-provincial event, six provinces managed to advance to the main round of PON XX Papua 2021. A number of teams that qualified came from the Mobile Legends and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) esports exhibitions.
Those who passed the Mobile Legends number to take part in the live match in Jayapura were West Kalimantan, Central Java, DKI Jakarta, South Sumatra, North Sulawesi and West Java.
The six provinces have gone through the qualifying round on 26 August-5 September. Then continue with the round playoffs in Mobile Legends Pre-PON which took place 9-10 September.
West Kalimantan, represented by Noviandra KP, Kevin Almeyda, Frengki and Randy, secured a slot in the semifinals after passing Maluku in the round of 16 and North Sulawesi in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, the Central Java team, consisting of Martinus Kevin, Attansius David, Jason Aristo. L, Nabeel D and Bernard D, succeeded, managed to fly to Papua after overthrowing Banten and the Riau Islands.
On the other hand, Daniel, Thomas Setyawan, Karisten William, Arbi Rizal and Daren Yapaloma managed to bring DKI Jakarta to Jayapura after conquering West Sulawesi and West Java, respectively in the round of 16 and the last eight.
The South Sumatra team, consisting of Andre Pramudya, Ayka Azra, Jason Hanes, Tayid Siddik, Triansyah, advanced to the semifinals after winning from Nusa Tenggara and West Sumatra.
Meanwhile, participants who are not superior to the four provinces will go down to the lower bracket to compete for tickets to Papua. North Sulawesi and West Java qualified for the XX Papua PON after winning over the Riau Islands and West Sumatra.
The six provinces will join the host team Papua to compete for the title at the Cricket Hockey field in Doyobaru, Jayapura, on September 22-26.
Meanwhile for the PES number, the six provinces that passed were DKI Jakarta (Elvan Bakkara and Muhammad Abdul Azis), West Java (Ferry Gumilang and Rizky Faidan), South Kalimantan (Muhammad Reza Alfiqri and Rommy Hadiwijaya), Gorontalo (Moh Bayu Habibie and Mohamad Akbar Paudie), Banten (Haerul Wibowo and Muhammad Tamrin), and Papua (La Ode Nurdiansah Amir Jaya and Rouldy Fireno). The six provinces will continue their struggle in the playoffs which will take place on September 22.
