Go to folder game install, by default the location is at C:Program FilesEpic Games in that folder will contain all the games that you have downloaded.

Click right on game folder who want to Backup then select Copy.

After Copy You stay here Paste game folder to another location, for example moving from C: drive to D: drive, you go to D: drive and then create a folder with the name Backup and Paste the results of the previous copy of the folder.

Open the Epic Games Launcher client, then go to the Library, and Install the Game that you have backed up. By default the game will be re-installed at the location C:Program FilesEpic Games.

After that Epic Games Launcher will immediately start downloading the game, wait for the “Initializing” process to finish. When it has changed to “Installing” immediately click “II” under the game title to Pause the download.

Close the Epic Games Launcher client by pressing the “X” button at the top right.

Move Game Backup Folder to New Download Folder Location

Please open a new game folder, by default it is in the location C:Program FilesEpic Games.

Move or Copy the game folder that has been backed up to a new game folder, by default it is located at C:Program FilesEpic Games. Files in the Backup folder will immediately move to the new folder.

If there is a Replace or Skip Files popup, just select Replace the files in the destination

Reopen Epic Games Launcher and continue the Installation process

Go to Library and click Resume on the game you want to Restore.

Epic Games Launcher will immediately scan the folder that has been filled in by the Backup results. The status will change to “Verifying” to verify, and not download.

But if there is a problem with a file, or a file is missing, there is an update, or it is corrupted then the status will be “Downloading”. But usually it’s not as long if the appeal is downloading from scratch.

If “Verifying” is full, the status will change to “Launch” which means you can play the game.
