Dubu Splits With Fnatic, Kuku No Longer Plays For TNC

Two more teams Dota 2 in Southeast Asia looks to be starting to clean up after The International 2021. Although there has been no official announcement, Fnatic seems to have parted ways with players support they are Dubu. Meanwhile NTC parted ways with one of their old players Kuku.

Just like Mineski and his three former players, the news of Dubu and Kuku’s departure from their team was announced through their respective personal Twitter accounts. While their team’s official social media accounts haven’t announced anything yet.

Both Fnatic and TNC themselves had a ‘decent’ season. Even though they never came out as champions in the Major or Minor tournaments, both teams managed to secure an invitation slot to The International 2021. Unfortunately, in the most important tournament, they turned out to be disappointing. Fnatic finish in the top 16 aka fall in the first round lower bracket, while TNC had to settle for a top 12 position despite starting the round playoffs from upper bracket.

Dubu himself has a quite unique journey this season. Unlike Kuku, who was an active player from the start, Dubu originally acted as coach for Fnatics. However, very disappointing results in the last few 2021 Pro Circuit tournaments forced Fnatic to improve to be ready to welcome The International 2021. In the end Fnatic shifted MP from roster active. His position was replaced by Jabz who played as support, while Dubu fills the position support left by Jabz.

Until this news was revealed, the two players have not announced where they will play. While their former team has not released an official announcement either regarding the release of the player or roster new.
