GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Universal Studio Japan (USJ) ride, Super Nintendo World, in Osaka, Japan, will open its virtual tour on February 4 this year via its official website. Originally set to open last summer, Super Nintendo World is an offshoot of USJ, which is specifically aimed at the Super Mario Bros. franchise. and many characters.

The site also offers details on the attraction’s three restaurants, with a menu of choices for each. There’s Hoover Up Mushroom Pizza Bowl and Pirahna Plant Caprese at Kinopio Cafe, new popcorn at Pit Stop Popcorn, or Koopa Troopa skins at Yoshi’s Snack Island.

The site also lets you explore the souvenir conveyor belt, read Mario Kart travel rules, and preview the attraction’s interactive games and adventures. USJ itself will open a new attraction area based on Nintendo’s popular game series, Super Mario Bros. on February 4, 2021.

Quoted from Kyodo by ANTARA, the area titled Super Nintendo World will feature augmented reality (AR) attractions, including the world’s first interactive Mario Kart amusement park ride, which was unveiled to the media on the same day. The opening of this new area was originally scheduled for last July, but had to be pushed to spring 2021 due to COVID-19. However, now that date is pushed forward a bit earlier in February.

USJ itself has reduced visitor numbers to about half of its capacity to prevent the spread of the virus. The amusement park will also restrict entry to new areas. While international travel to Japan is currently limited, Super Nintendo World will await travelers as soon as flights reopen.

Not only that, in 2023, the US Super Nintendo World will be present at the Universal Epic Universe theme park in Orlando.
