GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Along with the start of PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) 2021, Rich Brian also returns with his first single in 2021. The single with the title “Sydney” has become the official anthem of one of the Esports championships that is increasingly loved by the global community.

Sydney, based on PUBG Mobile’s official statement, Tuesday (23/3/2021), will accompany the journey and competition of the best Indonesian teams at PMPL ID Season 3 which starts March 24 through 88rising and is distributed by 12Tone Music LLC.

Apart from releasing this latest single from Brian, PUBG Mobile has announced the group results for PMPL ID Season 3. Divided into 5 groups, 20 esports teams will devote their skills to winning glory and the opportunity to take home the 150 thousand USD prize.

In Group A will compete VTM, RRQ, VOIN and BFD. Meanwhile in Group B there are BOOM, 21, BTR and GD. As for Group C, there are AURA, GEK, AE and 69. Meanwhile, AER, EAG, TAG and EVOS will compete in Group D. The last group, Group E, is Dewa United, ONC, MOR and SKY.

Brian, who is known as a rapper, producer, singer, and songwriter, is said to have been inspired by the hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia in creating “Sydney”. The relaxed rhythm combined with Rich Brian’s signature vocals accompanied by several saxophone notes demonstrates Brian’s skill at constantly changing the shape and improvising his voice.

“I created Sydney after listening to a lot of songs from Three 6 Mafia. The entire production of this single is heavily inspired by the hip-hop group. I also want to hear myself talk about my life while playing a beautiful saxophone,” Brian continued.

Through “Sydney”, Rich Brian shares how he matured and developed as an artist, from rapping on YouTube in his bedroom in Jakarta to becoming the first Asian musician to reach #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop chart.
