2 teams failed to qualify for PMPL ID Season 4 Country Finals
If 16 teams have been confirmed to qualify for Super Weekend 3, it means that there are four other teams that will only be spectators. They are ONIC Esports, Supply Bang, Maruzsama Echo, and NERO Esports. In fact, two of them are now confirmed to have failed to qualify for the Country Finals phase.
The two teams in question are Supply Bang and Maruszama Echo. With their current position in the Super Weekend standings until the second week, they are ranked 19th and 20th, now their failure to qualify for the last Super Weekend means they will not be able to qualify for the Country Finals because they can no longer add the points they need.
While the other two teams that are currently outside the top 16 in the Super Weekend standings, Eagle 365 Esports and Dewa United, both managed to qualify for the last Super Weekend after finishing 6th and 13th respectively.
Now the highlights are NERO Esports (170 points) and ONIC Esports (120 points). Currently, the positions of the two teams are in 11th and 15th place in the standings and their failure to qualify for the last Super Weekend will certainly threaten their chances of reaching the Country Finals, if Dewa United (90 points) and Eagle 365 Esports (69 points) manage to catch up. their points.
It will be interesting to see what the struggles of the teams will be to get tickets to directly qualify for the PMPL SEA Championship Season 4 by becoming the regular season champion of PMPL ID Season 4, or simply ensuring a position in the Country Finals. Everything will be determined in 15 games that will be played in Super Weekend 3 this weekend, Friday-Sunday (10-12/9/2021).
