PlayStation 5 Gold Plated for IDR 25.8 Billion Ready for Sale
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Russian luxury accessories company Caviar will soon release a gold-plated PlayStation 5. Quoted from PlayStation Universe, Caviar includes this gold-plated PlayStation as one of its selling products which is priced at 1.5 million EUR or around Rp. 25.8 billion (estimated 1 EUR = Rp. 17,200).
In his statement, the PlayStation 5 will be encrusted with 8 gold layers with a total weight of up to 20 kilograms. The gold that will be used in making the outer layer or cover for the PS5 is 18 karat gold.
To match the PS5 console, Caviar also released a special jostick that goes well with the gold-plated PS5. The special gold-plated PlayStation 5 joystick released by Caviar will also have a gold embellishment.
Not only gold decoration, the joystick will also be coated with black genuine crocodile skin. Of course, this gold-plated PlayStation 5 is a very rare item in the world. Considering the “normal” PlayStation, the price can now increase many times due to its limited supply.
Caviar in his statement will only release one PlayStation 5 console and these two special josticks. So you could say, the only gamers who will be able to buy this gold-plated PlayStation 5 are sultans!
For your information, the PlayStation 5 will officially be released in Indonesia on January 22, 2021. The PS5 Digital Edition will be available at a recommended retail price of IDR 7,299 million and the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive (standard edition) will be available with an SRP of IDR 8,799 million.
