OFFICIAL! 23savage joins Vici Gaming

Now 23savage will continue his career in Bamboo Curtain Country

Vici Gaming (VG) announced that they have brought in former Fnatic carry, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, and veteran offlaner, Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei, to fill the vacant roster following the departure of Zhang “Eurus” Chengjun.

VG announced the new lineup in a post on their official Facebook page. The team also revealed that 23savage has not yet joined the team as his visa is still being processed, they added that he is expected to arrive in China sometime in late October or early November.

“Vici Gaming complies with epidemic prevention regulations and is working with it (23savage) to complete all procedures,” said VG.

Keen Gaming’s former carry player, Yang “Erica” Shaohan, will be a stand-in for 23savage until he can join VG.

23savage parted ways with Fnatic at the end of last July, now he will take on the big task of replacing Eurus who has been VG’s star carry player since September 2021.

Eurus or better known as Paparazi, did not renew his contract with VG and was confirmed to join 4AM.

Eurus has long been expected to join the superteam Four Angry Men (4AM). The team also brought in Eurus’ former teammate at VG, Zhou “Yang” Haiyang, who left VG along with coach Bai “rOtK” Fan earlier this month.

VG will be debuting their new lineup in China Dota 2 Pro Cup Season 1, which kicks off on September 17th. This event will be the first large-scale offline LAN Dota 2 tournament to be held since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) to be postponed.

Vici Gaming’s new roster:

  1. Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon
  2. Zeng “Ori” Jiaoyang
  3. Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei
  4. Xiong “pyw” Jiahan
