Is 16GB RAM important for HP?

Quoted from a poll created by Android Authority, the poll contains various amounts of RAM capacity on Android phones today, ranging from below 1GB to above 16GB. The poll results are a little surprising, that most people choose 8GB RAM capacity is the most suitable for them.

There were a total of 39617 respondents in this poll, as many as 32% chose 8GB RAM and only 5% of respondents chose 16GB RAM. This proves that, for now the 16GB RAM capacity in the phone is too much, and not really important to consider.

Having a large RAM capacity can of course increase the performance of your Android phone, especially in the multitasking section. You can indeed run more applications simultaneously without experiencing problems with a large RAM capacity and that is indeed more value than a large RAM capacity. However, at this time it seems that the amount of RAM capacity in Android phones is too large, so large that you will not feel a significant difference in daily use.

When it comes to performance, RAM capacity is not the only thing that you pay attention to, but performance can also depend on the SoC used, the type of RAM used, the type of storage used, and so on. So, the point is that you don’t force yourself to buy an Android phone based on the largest RAM capacity, but also look at the other side like the SoC or even on your current RAM usage.
