Since two seasons ago, Sanz has indeed been discussed in the pro MLBB scene. It is considered to be one of the best hard cores out there.
This was shown by him when he became a regular winner of a non-MPL tournament with Victim Esports, became an MDL champion with the same team, and immediately gave a trophy to Onic.
No doubt, many predict that Sanz will be able to make Onic again victorious in MPL season 6, because it is rare for a carry that is as sharp and flexible as the Makassar player.
However, an interesting comment emerged from Jeremy “Tibold” Yulianto at the Planet Esports event. He thinks there is one player in MDL who has a playing style like Sanz.
He is the hyper carry of EVOS MDL, Alfarisi “Irish”. Irish was trained by Tibold when he was still defending Flash Wolves. He has also joined EVOS Academy since the middle of MDL season 1.
“I coached Irish when I was at Flash Wolves. He’s really good at it,” said Tibold when commenting on the EVOS MDL roster.
“If you could say this player has a gameplay that is almost similar to Sanz. But maybe Sanz is now well developed, while Irish I don’t know,” he added.
Ireland is now an important pillar for EVOS MDL. Supported by G, Clover, Zoeybit, and Tyrants, it will be very interesting to wait for their work in MDL season 2.
