Genshin Impact’s New Character Skill Leaks, Ganyu
Ganyu is a Bow-wielding 5-Star Cryo element user. This Genshin Impact character first appeared in Archon Quests Chapter 1, Act 2: Farewell, Archaic Lord.
If you haven’t reached it in the story, a bit of information Ganyu works as Ningguang’s secretary, otherwise known as Madam Qixing.
And in the trailer released by miHoYo on December 12, 2021, Ganyu’s skills were revealed. Here’s the full review.
Ganyu’s Skills
Trial of The Qilin – Elemental Skill
Ganyu leaves an Ice Lotus behind, Ganyu dashes behind, dodging all impurities and dealing Cryo DMG.
Ice Lotterys
- Periodically taunts enemies, attracting enemies to attack Ganyu.
- The Endurance Scale is based on Ganyu’s max HP.
- Explodes when destroyed or when its duration expires, and deals Cryo element AoE damage.
Celestial Shower – Elemental Burst
Ganyu fuses the atmosphere of snow and ice to summon the Ice Soul Gem to ward off evil.
As long as the skill is running, the Ice Soul Gem will continuously shower the opponent with ice shards that will hit the enemy with AoE and cause Cryo DMG.
Passive of Ganyu
Undivided Heart
After firing a Frostflake Arrow, the critical rate of subsequent Frostflake Arrows and the resulting bloom effect are increased by 20% for 5 seconds.
Harmony of Heaven and Earth
Characters within the Celestial Shower radius get 20% Cryo DMG Bonus
Preserved for the Hunt
Restores 15% of the ore used when crafting Bow-type weapons.
Constellation of Ganyu
Dew Drinker – Constellation Level 1
Receiving damage from Charge Level 2 FrostFlake Arrow or Aoe damage from Frostflake Arrow Bloom reduces enemy Cryo resistance by 15% for 6 seconds.
The attack generates 2 Energy for Ganyu.
This effect can only occur once per Charge Level 2 Frost Flake Arrow, regardless of whether the Frostflake Arrow itself or Bloom hits the target.
The Auspicious – Constellation Level 2
Trail of The Qillin gains 1 additional attack.
Cloud Strider – Constellation Level 3
Increases Celestial Shower level by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15
Westward Sojourn – Constellation Level 4
Enemies standing in the AoE Celestial Shower receive increased damage. This effect strengthens over time.
The damage increase starts at 5% and increases by 5% every 3 seconds, up to a maximum of 25%.
The effect lasts for 3 seconds after the enemy leaves AoE.
The Merciful – Constellation Level 5
Increases Trail of The Qillin’s Level by 3.
The maximum upgrade level is 15.
Clement – Constellation Level 6
Using Trail of the Qilin causes the next Frostflake Arrow shot to be fired within 30 seconds so it doesn’t need to be charged.
