Disappointing Appear in PMPL, Island of Gods Releases All PUBG Mobile Players

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The Island of Gods (IOG) Esports team made a surprising decision. The team owned by the Bali United soccer club has officially released all the players on their PUBG Mobile team. This was informed by IOG through their official Instagram account @iogesports.

“Thank you. For all the stories, joys and sorrows, laughter, and struggles. Keep on going even if you are no longer hand in hand. We will always provide prayers and support. Good luck further and see you on top!”

The performance of Island of Gods in PUBG Mobile Pro League Indonesia (PMPL Indonesia) season 2 is indeed quite disappointing. Island of Gods failed to advance to the Grand Final of PMPL Indonesia Season 2 for the second time. In fact, IOG only ranked 23 out of 24 regular season participants.

This result is worse than what they experienced in the previous season, where at that time they were ranked 19th. Although it is not yet known what the reasons behind the release of all PUBG Mobile players from the Island of Gods team, but IOG’s failure to perform seems to have forced the management to make radical decisions.

With this decision, Island of Gods became the third team to release all its PUBG Mobile players. Previously, two other teams had completely released their PUBG Mobile roster, Ariel Noah’s The Pillars Esports, and Dranix Esports’ Dranix Avengers.
