How to Permanently Turn Off Windows 10 Updates

After you reach this stage, it means that the Windows Auto Update service or feature is temporarily disabled.

To make the service disabled permanently, you must change the value (value) through the Registry Editor. How to do this is as follows:

First, open the Registry Editor by pressing Windows+R key to open the Run window.
Once the Run window opens, type regedit and press Enter.
After that proceed by going to the directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> wuauserv.
Continue by double-clicking on the ImagePath section. After that change the Value data by adding the number 0 behind svchost (So it looks like this: %systemroot%system32svchost0.exe -k netsvcs –p). After that click OK.
Don’t forget to also change the value of DependOnServices from rpcss to rpcss0.
