DG Esports Wins Call of Duty Mobile Major Series 4

GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – DG Esports, which is sponsored by Dunia Games, has succeeded in becoming the first team to win the Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) Major Series, a CODM competition organized by Garena Indonesia for two consecutive years. The success of DG Esports has become a momentum for Telkomsel to assert its position in the esports scene in Indonesia.

Nirwan added, Telkomsel is committed to developing a digital ecosystem by making Esports part of a digital lifestyle that can accelerate the achievements of the younger generation. Telkomsel and Dunia Games will continue to provide inclusive and sustainable services for Indonesian game activists that focus on increasing the capability and competitiveness of the younger generation in the digital world, which in this case targets the Esports sector.

The historical record that was successfully recorded by DG Esports was marked by its success in becoming the CODM Major Series 4 champion this year. DG Esports appeared dominant throughout the competition by sweeping each match with a win, until finally defeating Rimo Sadewa in the top party with a score of 3-0.

Previously, last year, DG Esports successfully won the CODM Major Series 3 which was attended by more than 800 teams from various regions in Indonesia. The success of DG Esports in winning the CODM Major Series for two consecutive seasons also led the team to represent Indonesia in the regional level CODM competition organized by Garena in 2021 and 2021.

With the victory in this year’s CODM Master Series 4, DG Esports became the Indonesian delegation in the 2021 CODM Garena Invitational (CGI) which was held on 19–21 March and 26–28 March for the Group Stage and April 3–4 for the Grand Final. DG Esports will compete closely with team representatives from other countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan to become the best team and win the CODM Garena Invitational (CGI) 2021

The DG Esports team for the CODM division consists of DG Zeze, DG Venom, DG Jetsky, DG Clove, DG Zen, and DG Ehann. Interestingly, a number of personnel are still active as students and students. DG Venom and DG Clove are currently high school students, while DG Ehann and DG Zeze are currently studying in college. This shows that their activities as professional eSports athletes can go hand in hand with educational activities.
