5G Network Officially Present in Indonesia, Suitable for Playing Games?

GAMEFINITY.ID, Singkawang – The 5G network has been present in Indonesia brought by the provider Telkomsel. But even so, not all Telkomsel users can immediately use it. There are several conditions, starting from the smartphone used must support 5G, the card used must support 5G and others.

Then the question arises how fast is this 5G internet network? How many pings are generated?

5G Internet Speed

By using the 2.3 GHz frequency band and the Oppo Reno5 5G smartphone they tried to do a speed test. In the first application, Speedtest by Ookla, the results obtained were 122 Mbps for download and 64 Mbps for upload. And the resulting ping is 19ms and the jitter is only 6ms.

Then for the second test using the next application, namely OpenSignal. In this test the speed obtained was 24.9 Mbps for download and 30.2 Mbps for upload speed, with a latency of -1ms.

Based on the test results on both applications, it can be concluded that with a ping of only 19ms, Telkomsel’s 5G network can be used to play games stably.

Telkomsel itself is holding this early stage of 5G using the 2.3 GHz frequency band. The frequency spectrum used in this early stage is 30MHz or one-third of the frequency spectrum that should be used for 5G, which is 100MHz.
