16 Teams Qualified for PMGC Grand Final in Dubai
GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – The Indonesian esports team Bigetron Red Aliens and Aerowolf Limax qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) grand final in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 21-24 2021 after performing well in the PMGC League round which ended on Sunday (20/12). In total, 16 teams will fight for the PMGC 2021 title.
The final standings of the league round, Bigetron Red Aliens (BTR) had to settle for the runner-up position in the standings and were entitled to bring a prize of 125,000 US dollars. For the top position there is a representative of China, 4AM and is entitled to a prize of 300 thousand US dollars. Of the 16 teams that qualified for the grand final including 4AM and two representatives from Indonesia, 3 other teams were from Thailand: RRQ AThena, Secret Jin and POWER888 KPS; one team from the Commonwealth of Nations, namely Konina Power.
Two teams from Turkey: Klas Digital Athletic and Futbolist, two teams from China: Nova Esports and Four Angry Men, one team from Nepal: Abrupt Slayers, one team from Brazil: A7 eSports, one team from Mongolia: ZEUS ESPORT, one team from Russia: Natus Vincere, one team from Malaysia: Team Secret, and one team from Bangladesh: A1 eSports.
“There are many influences that happened in this competition, where the most influential is the change of zone which is very different from the previous competition and that we have to learn again. We will evaluate the game in this competition and hopefully in the next competition, we can win the title and give another trophy in the grand final, which can be a pride for Indonesia,” said Bigetron Red Aliens Manager, Isfan Satria.
Isfan thanked the supporters of Bigetron Red Aliens, while apologizing for not being able to provide maximum results. Meanwhile, one of the Aerowolf Limax players, Rafif “SuperUna” Febriano, conveyed a sense of pride. According to him, to win the grand final ticket is not an easy struggle, considering the competition is very tight.
