10 PS4 Games That Can’t Be Played on PS5!

When Sony announced the presence of the Playstation 5 (PS5) to the public, they explained that most of the games from the PS4 would be playable on their latest console.

This will be the largest number of games Sony supports in features backwards compatibility they are compared to previous consoles.

Sony also announced that some games will benefit from the PS5’s newest feature called Game Boost, which will be able to run games at higher frame rates and graphics quality.

Even so, Sony has confirmed that there will be some games from the PS4 that will not be playable on the PS5.

Fortunately, the number of games that are not supported is very small and Spinners don’t have to worry if your PS4 game can’t be played

Here’s the list of PS4 games not supported on PS5

  1. DWVR
  2. Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
  3. TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2
  4. Just Deal With It!
  5. Shadow Complex Remastered
  6. Robinson: The Journey
  7. We Sing
  8. Hitman Go: Definite Edition
  9. Shadwen
  10. Joe’s Diner

From the list of games, you could say that none of these games are AAA games or games from major franchises.

Some of those games are Virtual Reality (VR) games like DWVR which require players to have PS4 VR devices which PS5 doesn’t support.

Maybe the game that Spinners might know is Hitman, but for the game Hitman Go: Definitive Edition, the game was originally a PS Vita game imported to PS4, so Sony decided not to bring it to PS5.

Sony has promised that 99% of PS4 games will be able to run on the PS5.

Although there are games that will receive features Boost Games, in an article on their website, Sony warns that some will also run inconsistently on the PS5.

“Although many PS4 games can be played on the PS5 console, some of the functions available on the PS4 console may not be available on the PS5 console. Additionally, some PS4 games may exhibit errors or unexpected behavior when played on the PS5 console. ”
