Virtus.Pro Breaks Team Secret's Domination and Wins The Kuala Lumpur Major

Even if it fails perform at The International 2021, Virtus.Pro remained solid in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 tournament. Beating the current Team Secret on fire, they managed to come out as champions of The Kuala Lumpur Major.

Virtus.Pro started the tournament in group D along with Forward Gaming, Alliance, and Pain X. Facing opponents who were one class below them, Virtus.Pro came out as group winners. But in the process they had missed each one games.

Enter the round playoffs, Virtus.Pro’s performance has improved again. In a row they managed to beat Fnatic and Ninjas in Pajamas 2-0, advancing to winners’ finals and guarantee finish big three.

Fight Virtus.Pro on winners’ finals is Team Secret which the past two weeks is on fire. Not only won the 2021 ESL One Hamburg, Team Secret also still hasn’t lost one games even at The Kuala Lumpur Major.

Even though it managed to steal one games, Virtus.Pro in the end had to admit defeat to Team Secret 2-1 and went down to lower bracket. They had to face the Evil Geniuses in order to advance to grand final and re-challenge Team Secret.

Despite appearing brilliant throughout lower bracket, in the end Virtus.Pro is still too strong for Evil Geniuses. Through two games, Virtus.Pro managed to beat Evil Geniuses very convincingly.

The final round between Virtus.Pro and Team Secret was fierce. Virtus.Pro goes ahead by winning games first. Team Secret then replied to two games in a row and only need to win one more time to come out as champion.

But Virtus.Pro says otherwise. Through two games which was no less fierce, Virtus.Pro replied and instead came out as champion with a score of 3-2. They came out victorious, taking home $350,000 and 4950 Pro Circuit points.
