Virtus Pro Wins ESL One Hamburg 2021

After going through a long struggle, ESL One Hamburg finally found the winner. Safe! Virtus Pro finally won the ESL One Hamburg tournament event, the first Major tournament in the Dota Pro Circuit series after previously Team Liquid and Mineski won the first and second Minor tournaments. With this victory Virtus Pro is entitled to take home a prize of $ 500,000 or the equivalent of Rp. 6.7 M and 750 DPC Points.

Virtus Pro then made a surprise in the second game by defeating The International 7 champion as well as the Dota 2 Minor tournament champion Starladder i-League Invitational 3 with a convincing victory 2 – 1

After going through a long journey at ESL One Hamburg 2021 finally 4 semifinalist teams were successfully selected to undergo the Playoffs. The four teams are:

Newbee (Moogy, Sccc, Kpii, Faith, Kaka)

Team secret (Ace, MidOne, Fata, Yapzor, Puppey)

Virtus Pro (RAMZES666, No[o]ne, 9pasha, Lil, Solo, Artsyle)

Team Liquid (MATUMBAMAN, Miracle-, MinD_ContRoL, GH, KuroKy)

Virtus Pro played the semifinals against Newbee which ended with a pretty good victory 2 – 1

A surprising result came from Team Liquid, who was the champion of The International 7 who had to give up at the hands of Team Secret with a tips score of 2-1.

With Team Secret’s convincing victory in the Semi Finals, they are quite confident when they will fight Virtus Pro in the Final. At first, many thought that this match would be very fierce with the meeting of the top 2 teams in the Major tournament, it was clear that Team Secret put quite a lot of pressure throughout the match, but unfortunately Virtus Pro’s good game made Team Secret have to admit Virtus Pro’s superiority with a landslide victory. 2 – 0.

This victory also made Solo out as MVP in this match and was entitled to an additional prize in the form of a new Mercedes Benz car worth $58,900 or equivalent to Rp. 800 Million.
