LFY and Newbee to Round 4 Upper Bracket TI 7
The latest news on Steam DotA 2 games that came from LFY, and Newbee shared their victory after competing in the 3rd round of Upper Bracket The International 7. LFY went to round 4 of TI 7 Upper Bracket after defeating Virtus.Pro. Meanwhile, Newbee defeated another Chinese team, namely iG.
Newbee VS iG
Newbee’s MOBA DotA 2 team games against iG in the 3rd round of Upper Bracket The International 7 showed a balanced game between the two teams. But in the third match, Newbee was more ready to win than iG. The defeat achieved by iG with a score of 2-1, brought him to the Lower Bracket TI 7.
The first games were won by Newbee in about 40 minutes. In fact, the beginning of the match was controlled by the iG team. But as time went on, the match was evenly matched for both sides. It was the battle for the third Aegis that put Newbee ahead for getting it, which in the end brought victory to this team.
The second game was won by iG before 40 minutes later. Both teams run the match by killing each other’s heroes. However, having lost the first game made iG’s game more aggressive than Newbee’s. It is the Earth Spirit from Boboka who changes the balance to be in favor of iG. His brilliant play managed to put iG ahead and even took Aegis on Roshan for free. The Aegis that iG got brought them to push the lane which then won the match.
The third game was won by Newbee convincingly. Getting first blood at the beginning of the game doesn’t make Newbee appear crazy. Like iG looking for items, Newbee did the same for the first 10 minutes. In the middle of the game, iG started to play an aggressive game which managed to push the lane.
But it all turned to dominance from Newbee after 30 minutes. Due to the death of 3 iG heroes, and Aegis claims, Newbee is rampant. They keep pushing lanes, so iG can’t farm. When the Newbees get new Aegis, they start leveling the iG base. Finally, the last jump from Storm Spirit ended the struggle of iG who had to type GG.
LFY VS Virtus.Pro
LFY once again demonstrated their superiority by defeating Virtus.Pro, 2 sets of straight games. Because of this victory, Virtus.Pro had to be willing to go down to the Lower Bracket in the TI7 international tournament.
The first game between LFY VS Virtus.Pro in the 3rd round of Upper Bracket The International 7 showed how neat, compact, and superior the LFY game was. Especially Du “Monet” Peng who played Morphling. This Chinese team only needed 26 minutes to finish the game.
The second game was actually dominated by Virtus.Pro at the beginning of the game. But thanks to the very high patience of the LFY team members, they were able to win the match. It was a provocation in the upper region that resulted in the match turning back to LFY’s victory. Virtus.Pro’s folly that provoked the team to lose the battle. This condition is exacerbated by the theft of Aegis.
