This is the team that passed the Dota Summi 11 qualification
Right after the end of the MDL Chengdu Major qualification, the Dota Pro Circuit 2021 immediately continued with the Minor Dota Summit 11 qualification. For approximately two days, we finally got eight teams that will play in this first Minor. Unfortunately, once again, the Indonesian team failed to become one of the eight teams.
The participants of the Dota Summit 11 qualification were followed by four teams. Two of these are the third-placed teams (and fourth for some regionals) from the MDL Chengdu Major qualifying group phase. While the remaining two teams are those who fell out of the phase playoffs Major qualification. The four teams then competed in the format double elimination to fight for a slot to Minor. Especially for CIS and Europe, they are entitled to two slots.
Several regionals for this Minor ended without any major surprises. Quincy Crew who did not get a Major slot was able to wipe out the American region by losing only one games just. Likewise with Pain Gaming in South America, Virtus.Pro in CIS, and Ninjas in Pajamas in Europe. Virtus.Pro and Ninjas in Pajamas themselves were accompanied by Hellraisers and Ad Finem from their respective regions.
The Geek Fam of experienced players was also able to overcome the Southeast Asian qualifiers without any major problems. Unfortunately that means the Indonesian team BOOM Esports. One region that may be quite fierce is China which is full of quite strong teams. But surprisingly, the RNG, which should have been slightly superior, lost. Invictus Gaming that comes with roster just managed to pass this regional qualifier.
