The Prime NND Wins Jakarta Indonesia Pride Gaming League Qualification

Team Dota 2 The Prime NND became the second team to advance to the Indonesian Pride Gaming League (IPGL) league phase after winning the qualification offline Jakarta which was held on 20 and 21 May 2021. Not only that, they are also entitled to a cash prize of IDR 5 million.

This qualification is one of eight qualifications to find participants in the league phase at IPGL later. Previously, BOOM.ID had advanced as a participant in the league phase after winning the qualification on line the previous week.

The Jakarta qualifier was held at the Mineski Infinity Indonesia internet cafe located in Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta, and was attended by 64 teams. Besides The Prime NND, Rex Regum Qeon was also present as a participant in this tournament.

Although playing with one new player, in the format single elimination best of one, The Prime NND managed to overcome all its opponents until the final round. On the other hand RRQ who played with roster also managed to advance to the quarter-finals. But their steps stopped there after losing to Exordium.

In the final round, The Prime NND faced off against Team Blamer, an “impromptu” team, one of which was Michael “KelThuzard” Samsir, a former RRQ player. In the final best of three, through solid play, they were able to beat Team Blamer 2-0 without reply, and stepped forward to the IPGL league phase following BOOM.ID.

With the completion of the Jakarta qualifiers, the tournament qualifying round Dota 2 This IPGL leaves only six slots. Five of them are city qualifications that will be held annually offline or LAN, while the other one is held separately on line. Unfortunately, until this news was revealed IPGL had not announced details regarding the next qualification.
