Team Liquid To Settle In Dota 2, Acquisition of Former Alliance Players

A few weeks ago, Team Liquid announced that they were releasing Dota 2 roster they. Last night, welcoming the MDL Chengdu Major qualification, they finally announced roster new, namely five former Alliance players.

The reason for the departure of Kuroky and his team from Team Liquid was not due to negative incidents or conflicts. After several very successful years and one The International title, Kuroky wants to realize his ambition to form a new team with four other players.

Recruiting former Alliance players might come as a bit of a shock to many. Because compared to the previous team filled with veterans and world-class players, these five new players are still classified as rookie two years ago.

Indeed, during the two years playing in the Alliance, they showed an increase in terms of achievement. From not being able to win anything in the 2021-2021 season, this team then began to win several minor and minor tournaments and managed to qualify for The International 2021. In other words, this team has great potential and can continue to grow. It’s just undeniable that they replaced Team Liquid which was previously a world caliber team.

We can only see Team Liquid’s debut in the next Minor and Major because they decided not to take part in the first Major and Minor in November. We’ll see how far these players can develop and prove their worth under the Team Liquid banner.

Team Liquid Roster:

  1. Michael “Micke” Vu
  2. Maximilian “qojqva” Brocker
  3. Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
  4. Tommy “Taiga” Lee
  5. Aydin “Insania” Sarkohi
