Team Liquid Advances to China Supermajor Finals

Team Liquid once again made it to the finals of the China Supermajor. They will face PSG.LGD or Virtus.Pro who will compete in the final lower bracket.

The opening match is lower bracket between OpTic Gaming versus Virtus.Pro. For OpTic, this is a very important match because winning means guaranteeing a top four position and Pro Circuit points. From that point they could steal the top eight of the Pro Circuit to get an invitation to The International 2021.

OpTic gets serious right away games first by using Drow Ranger and Visage. Unfortunately this strategy did not work well. With line up The OpTic wasn’t able to take Roshan though. One team fight in Roshan then solidified Virtus.Pro’s advantage and secured games first.

The second match pitted Team Secret against Vici Gaming. Vici Gaming’s consistency problem occurred again in this match. first pick Zeus from Secret couldn’t be answered by Vici Gaming at all and made Team Secret win at games first in just 32 minutes.

Vici Gaming try lineup unusual in games second with Legion Commander, Ax, and Invoker. Their strategy initially went pretty smoothly until a team fight in front of tier 2 tower bot Team Secret ruined all the momentum.
