List of Esports Tournaments You Can Join This Month (January)

When you want to be an athlete esports, tournament play experience is important. Fortunately, there are so many tournaments out there that you can participate in, from amateur to professional, local to international, on line until offline or LANs.

In this article, we will tell you which tournaments you can participate in this January, especially for Dota 2, League of Legends, Point Blank, and Hearthstone. Keep in mind, all tournaments below are hosted by other parties, not Metaco. Also, make sure you visit link for each tournament to read the rules and further information.

Dota 2

AESxMyRepublic Gamer Champions League Season 2

  • Location: On line
  • Tournament Dates: 3-5 February 2021, every 18:00-21:00 WIB
  • Total prize: Rp10,000,000
  • Slots: 64 teams, multislot max.2 teams
  • Registration fee: IDR 50,000
  • Registration date: No later than February 1, 2021

There are still many tournaments on line that you can find. Just visit the Ligagame forums, find tournaments you can join, and register your team. Again, be careful when choosing the tournament you want to participate in. Make sure your team’s schedule is right, and that the organizers and tournament information are clear and reliable.

Point Blank

Point Blank Ladies Championship (PBLC) 2021 Season 1 Qualification

Tournament Point Blank This women-only will be back in early 2021. As usual, PBLC invites you ladies to play Point Blank to register his team and fight for the team title Point Blank the best woman in Indonesia.

This tournament is divided into two phases, namely the preliminary phase and also the final. The final phase will be held online offline in Bandung in March, and will only invite four teams from the preliminary round.

  • Location: On line and offline. Teams may come from any city, but each team must play in a venue the same one that Garena had determined.
  • Tournament Dates: 25-26 February 2021
  • Total prize: More than IDR 10,000,000,-
  • Slots: as much

  • Registration date: 9 January 2021 to 16 February 2021

PBGC Closed Qualifier II

The PBGC closed qualifiers resumed. Like the previous stage, this second qualification is held in certain cities/regions in Indonesia, which of course is different from the first qualifying city/region. If you don’t live in that city, you can wait for the third Closed Qualifier that may be held in your city.

  • Location: Offline – Jakarta, Tangerang, Tegal, Bali, Bengkulu, Padang, Palangkaraya, Banjarmasin
  • Tournament Dates: 4-5 February 2021
  • Total prize: Minimum IDR 3,500,000 plus merchandise, and will increase depending on the number of participants
  • Slots: as much
  • Format: Bomb Missions, single elimination
  • Registration date: The day before the tournament date

League of Legends

Runeterra Online Tournament #5

  • Location: On line
  • Tournament Dates: 27-29 January 2021
  • Total prize: IP and in-game items
  • Slots: 64 teams per faction (there are a total of eight factions, which means 512 teams)
  • Format: Single Elimination, Best of three
  • Registration date: No later than January 25, 2021

Hearthstone

Hearthstone Championship Tour Winter

Hearthstone always have a tournament on line which you can find on the official website. Just visit this page and enter the tournaments that are available and you can join.

There are currently too many tournaments on line that you follow almost every day, and all of them reward you in the form of HCT Points. One thing you need to pay attention to is, pay close attention to the time of the tournament and the server used by the tournament. Don’t let those of you who play on the American (regional) server register in a European server tournament.
