Epicelter XL Recap Day Four: Na'Vi Beat Virtus.Pro

Na’Vi have once again shown that they are a strong team that still deserves to be reckoned with. After yesterday defeating Team Secret, they then beat Virtus.Pro on the fourth day of Epicenter XL.

Facing the current number one Pro Circuit team, Na’Vi is clearly not a champion when facing Virtus.Pro in group B. That prediction was also almost proven when Virtus.Pro managed to win games first one quite easily.

But surprises start to happen in games next. Blessing surprise pick Slark and Windranger, Na’Vi managed to seize games second with difficulty. Then in games the three Slarks who this time played with Zeus and Brewmaster as core managed to dominate the game and led Na’Vi to a 2-1 win.

The surprises in Group B didn’t stop there. Pain Gaming surprisingly managed to beat Newbee 2-0, each in less than 40 minutes. This leaves Newbee at the bottom of Group B with three defeats.

Meanwhile, OG again showed their improved performance against Team Secret. Despite losing in games first, OG was able to turn things around with two games fast and topped group B.

Meanwhile in Group A, the top three teams won. PSG. LGD managed to beat Team Empire with a score of 2-1. Mineski managed to score their first point after winning against Complexity 2-1. Meanwhile, Team Liquid solidified its position at the top of group A after beating FlyToMoon also with a score of 2-1.

Today’s fifth day of the Epicenter group phase will be decisive for several teams. Newbee must win against Na’Vi if he wants to survive in this tournament. While Virtus.Pro must be able to beat OG to guarantee their position in the top two groups.
