Valve Announces Major and Minor Dota Pro Circuit Dates for Next Season

Even though the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit season is still not over, Valve has already started preparing for the Dota Pro Circuit for the next season. They also announced available tournament dates and started accepting proposals from organizers wanting to hold a Pro Circuit tournament next month.

Judging from the available schedule, Valve doesn’t seem to be changing the large format Dota Pro Circuit for next season. This means that throughout the season, the Major tournament will start with the Minor tournament first.

For next season, the Dota Pro Circuit will still consist of five Majors and Minors with the following details:

Major

  • 16-24 November 2021
  • January 18-26, 2021
  • 14-22 March 2021
  • May 2-10, 2021
  • 20-28 June 2021

Minor

  • 5-9 November 2021
  • 7-11 January 2021
  • 3-7 March 2021
  • 22-26 April 2021
  • 9-13 June 2021

Unlike now, for next season, Valve will determine the format of the Major, Minor, and even qualifying tournaments. The hope is of course to avoid a less than ideal format. However, we don’t know what format Valve will provide for each tournament.

As usual, the organizers of the Major and Minor will be third party organizers. That’s why starting today they are also accepting proposals for organizers who want to hold a Major and/or Minor at the Dota Pro Circuit next season. If you are an interested organizer, you can directly send an email to DPC2021@valvesoftware.com.
