Acer Predator League Will Meet Eight Dota 2 Teams from Eight Countries

Starting January 18, Acer will hold the final round of the tournament Dota 2 them, the Acer Predator League. Eight homeland teams will fight for one slots to represent Indonesia in the main round of the tournament. In the main round, seven teams from seven different countries were waiting to compete prize pool of US$150,000 (approximately Rp2 billion).

On two tournament days, eight Indonesian teams will compete against each other to complete the final phase of the Acer Predator League qualification for Indonesia. The eight teams consisted of four invited teams and four preliminary qualifying teams. They are EVOS Esports, EVOS Cubs, RRQ, PG.Barracx, The Watcher, BOOM.ID, Obelix, and Destructor Gaming. One of the best teams will advance to the main tournament.

In the main tournament, there are seven teams from seven different countries, namely:

  • Quid Pro Quo (Philippines)
  • Geek Fam (Malaysia)
  • Alpha Red (Thailand)
  • Ten Twenty (Singapore)
  • Azure eSports (Hong Kong)
  • Signify (India)
  • We Say No (Sri Lanka)

Some of the teams above are quite strong teams and often play at a semi-professional level such as Geek Fam, Quid Pro Quo, Alpha Red, and Ten Twenty. So, it doesn’t mean that Acer Predator will be an easy tournament for Indonesian representatives who qualify later.

This tournament will be held on a LAN at Taman Anggrek Mall. You yourself can also watch live for free from the 18th to the 21st. Unfortunately, until this news was published, we did not know the format of the Acer Predator tournament, both the Indonesian qualifiers and the main tournament. We will give updates so get it.
